Dr. Syed Qamar Askari
Dr. Askari is a faculty member at GIFT University, Gujranwala, Pakistan. He teaches artificial intelligence, machine learning and core computer science subjects, including data structures and algorithms and the theory of computation.
His research centres on metaheuristic optimization. He is the author of the Political Optimizer and the Heap-Based Optimizer, two optimization algorithms inspired by politics and corporate hierarchies, and has published on applying such algorithms to neural network training and on the properties that make metaheuristics reliable. His MATLAB implementations are openly available.
Beyond the classroom, he publishes free lectures in English and Urdu on his YouTube channel, and builds interactive lecture hubs and dashboards. Each lecture follows the same four steps, Why, What, How and Practice, so that learners always start from the problem, understand the idea, see it work and then try it themselves.

Teaching approach
Start with why
Every topic opens with a real problem so the need is clear.
See it work
Interactive demos make abstract ideas visible.
Practise at once
Instant feedback keeps learners engaged and confident.
